Being a CG and VFX artist is always challenging.
We create stunning visual effects for movies, games, commercials and other media. We need to have a strong artistic vision, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for bringing stories to life. A VFX artist should always be eager to learn new techniques and technologies, constantly updating skills and portfolio, as the industry is always evolving and changing.
Motion, CG & VFX is a very promising and big industry, and few of my skills among them are:

– Proficiency in various software tools, such as 3ds Max, V-ray, corona, phoenixFD, After Effects, Lumion etc. And I’m still learning.
– Knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, compositing, simulation and animation techniques.
– Ability to work with different types of assets, such as live-action footage, CG elements, rotoscoping, motion graphics etc.
– Creativity and artistic vision to design and execute realistic and stylized effects.
– Attention to detail and quality control to ensure consistency and accuracy of the final output.
– Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other artists, directors, producers, and clients.
– Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to overcome technical challenges and meet deadlines.

Being a CG and VFX artist is not easy. You have to deal with tight deadlines, demanding clients, complex software, and high expectations. You also have to constantly update your skills and portfolio, as the industry is always evolving and changing. Some of the challenges you may face as a CG and VFX artist are:

– Balancing quality and speed: You want to create stunning visuals, but you also have to deliver them on time and within budget. Sometimes you have to compromise on your artistic vision or cut corners to meet the requirements.
– Handling feedback and revisions: You have to be open to criticism and suggestions from your clients, supervisors, and peers. You also have to be flexible and adaptable, as you may have to change your work multiple times until it satisfies everyone.

– Managing stress and burnout: You have to work long hours, often under pressure and with little recognition. You may experience fatigue, frustration, or loss of motivation. You have to take care of your physical and mental health, and find ways to cope with stress and avoid burnout.
